Lockheed 18 in service with the US Army Air Corps were designated C-56, C-57 and C-60. The designation in US Navy service was R50 and in service with the Royal Air Force Lodestar IA and Lodestar II.
The Lockheed 18 Lodestar is a development of the Lockheed 14 Super Electra.
