The Cirrus SR22 is a single-engine four-seat light touring aircraft produced by the US-American manufacturer Cirrus Design Corporation, now Cirrus Aircraft Corporation.
The Cirrus SR22 is a development of the Cirrus SR20 with larger wing and more powerful engine. Like the SR20 the Cirrus SR20 is equipped with the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System? (CAPS) which can be deployed in an emergency to lower the entire aircraft to the ground.
